I write historical fiction based on history and genealogy. After delving into researching my family for over twenty years, I asked myself how I could pass the treasure I had unearthed. A friend of mine formed a writer’s group and the rest is well—history.

Yes, I’ve discovered some very interesting family connections in history. One is Mathew Brady, the famous photographer of the civil war, as well as of many political figures. He took many of the famous photos of Abraham Lincoln we’re all familiar with—yet, sadly, died penniless.
